The process takes just a few minutes: a tiny chip (the size of a grain of rice) is inserted under the skin between the shoulder blades using a sterile needle. It’s virtually painless, and once registered, your contact details are linked to the chip in national databases. If your pet ever gets lost, any vet, rescue or scanner can quickly identify them and reunite you.
